Kid-friendly vacations

Spring Break just passed and either you and your kids took a nice trip somewhere or you wanted to. Now is the time to start planning early for a summer getaway. If you’re a parent, you’ll want to plan activities that your kids (and yourself) will enjoy. While relaxing at a spa may be your idea of fun, theirs is a day at Disneyland! There are more options to kid-friendly vacations other than amusement parks, though. However don’t discount them either, there are some great packages that can get you a good deal on hotel, amusement park and food for a good rate.

You can’t go wrong with a beach, especially if its your kids’ first time, they’ll be thrilled! Make sand castles, play beach volleyball and swim close to the shore. There is something for everyone at the beach. Another idea is to go camping. The kids can go fishing or help build a campfire and make s’mores. If anything, you can always do something local like a science museum for kids or a county fair!
