Wonder Mom

Recently, Mcdonald’s honored “Wonder Mom” together with a local network. It’s a program that honors ideal mothers. Mothers who work for their family and for the community as well. The awardee was given gifts and livelihood package in a ceremony held in one of Mcdonald’s outlets. Her kids and other fellow mothers with their kids were there to witness the occassion and celebrate with her.
Mrs. Renalie Ignacio was the awardee. She is a street sweeper and also sells plastics, and other things with value from the garbage she collects everyday. She helps her husband with her job to make both ends meet. Aside from being a working mother, she is also a volunteer of the Department of Social Welfare and Development. As a volunteer, her job is to make it sure that relief goods and other govrnment subsidies reach the poor people in her community. Renalie is doing this because one of her child was the recipient of the DSWD’S help when the child got sick. From then on, she always volunteer for the agency’s projects. Renalie is truly a model mom.
