More often than not, we parents suffer from the shock value of advertisements that show male and female in sexually suggestive positions while watching a Television program with our Kids. It can be very embarrassing sometimes, and the immediate reaction of any one of us would be to change the channel immediately. However, does this really help the curiousness arisen after seeing the visual in your kid’s mind?
On a more subjective level, I would not recommend shying away or changing the channel as the most appropriate answer to the kid’s curiosity. Rather, this thing should be explained by parent’s own behavior at home. If the parents exhibit these proximities of touching, hugging and kissing even in front of their kids, they would never sense anything unusual about it. Similarly, when they see a couple getting cozy on the screen, they would simply look at it as just another expression of love.
