It is true that you must talk to a new born baby as if you are talking to an adult. Baby talking must be avoided if you want your baby to have a better speaking ability. Even if you have an urge to baby talk them you must think of the effect of it on the child. Because they can easily pick it up and mimic them.
But as parents, we are responsible for our child not to pick up these bad words. It always start in the household where in you must educate each member the proper way of communicating. Even you are just conversing to a member of the family or just watching television, utterance of bad words must be avoided. Even they are just playing and you thought that they didn’t pay attention to what you are talking about, you will be surprise hearing them saying those words. And it is always a must that when you heard the child said it, you must at once talk to the child and let him/her know that it is not right to speak like that. Do not shout or spank the kid because they might be rebellious and will not listen to you again.
Many of us have problems like these, but, with proper guidance of our children and constant showing of love and care to them, i think this can be avoided. So, let yourself be a part of your child’s world and not be left ignorant or be sorry forever.
