Training for Reluctant Learners

I usually compliment those single parent, not only for providing the financial needs of their kids but as well as the way they raise them. It is so difficult to be a mother and a father at the same time. Especially when during the school opening. Not only for facing the expenses but to handle reluctant learners especially for the first time schooler .

Treatment at home is what a kid will remember. Being at young age, we don’t want them to participate in chores,  saying that we have to clean the mess they created, so instead of helping us it would add up our tasks to be more complicated. This thinking could not help parents to build confidence to a child. They will deprive them the chance to explore and recognized their capabilities. This will get them used to be dependent, thus will be a problem at the time of sending them to school.

Letting the child participate to chores is like forming their willingness to learn. Although some are hesitant at start, by acknowledging their works will boost their interest to take their part.  In school, teachers is giving a star for every work done correctly or nicely.  This can be done at home too to prepare for school. It can be seen just an extension of what they are doing at home.  It could also be their advantage being a first time learner, they will get advance compared to their classmate.

This training can ignite a child’s eagerness to learn and explore more for more rewarding outcome.  This tend to lessen their worries in handling childs behavior.  Thus benefiting both sides.
